Planning to Volunteer with us at an event soon?
Our Zendo SIT Course is distinct from our traditional Volunteer Training (Burning Man, Envision, Lightning in a Bottle, etc.).
Our Volunteer Training has three components;
- Core Competency, a virtual training covering the Zendo Core principles.
- Logistics, an online training that focuses on preparing individuals for specific event-based volunteer roles.
- Interactive In-Person, the training that takes place at each event.
By taking the Zendo SIT Course, you will be exempt from the Core Competency component of the volunteer training, should you apply and be accepted as a Zendo volunteer. To earn this exemption, you are required to attend, in person, the entire 4-week course. The exemption is good for two years from the time you received the training. As a volunteer you will still need to complete the logistics and role playing components that are specific to each event.
